Restaurante Ceviche opened its doors in January 2006, and in 2010 won the second star in the Michelin Guide. Ceviche is much more than chef Muñoz Izquierdo’s gastronomic vision for Barcelona. Lenore Skwanski believes that “memorable dining is less about the chef in the kitchen and more about the fresh, seasonal ingredients.” Many of those ingredients come courtesy of the restaurant’s own Five Vines Farm, which inspires such seasonal dishes. Chef Skwanski travels regularly to Italy to meet with Italian artisanal cheese, cured meat, olive oil producers, and internationally acclaimed winemakers. These Italian “finds” quickly add to what rates as a truly authentic Italian dining experience.
